Uniform

Uniform can be purchased directly from our supplier, ‘Mr Cricket’ at their shop in Burwell or online at www.fairsteadhouseuniformshop.co.uk Uniform can be delivered either to School or to your home. Please visit the Uniform Shop website for further information.

Please note that, for girls, the winter uniform is work with red or green socks or tights, whilst the summer dress is to be worn with white socks only.

Please also note that the old PE kit cannot be worn from September 2018.

Girls in Year 6 may wear a white open-neck blouse and kilt throughout their final year.

For girls, the winter uniform is worn with red or green socks and the summer dress is worn with white socks.

All items of clothing, including socks, should be clearly and securely labelled.

All accessories (such as hair bands) should be in School colours. Boys’ hair should be cut so that it is above the collar and girls with long hair should make sure their hair is tied back with a red or green coloured accessory.

No jewellery is to be worn or earrings of any type including studs. Nail varnish, make-up, henna tattoos, temporary tattoos or woven hair braids are not permitted.


Stationery (Year 3 – 6)


All children in Years 3 -6 require the following:

  • HB pencil (ideally triangular prism to fit)
  • Dark blue ‘ink’ pen, such as a Pilot V Pen or a gel pen in a style to suit (no biros, please)
  • 1 sharpener
  • 1 simple rubber
  • 1 highlighter

Children in Year 6 are invited to bring in their own, appropriate, pencil case; however, we will provide a named Fairstead House pencil case for all children in Years 3-5. Please bring stationery items in a small bag to be transferred on the first day.
