P.A. Summer Fete

Fairstead House Parents’ Association held their Summer Fete in the grounds of the school on Saturday, 12th June.

Parents had been very generous with their donations of cakes, cookies & bottles for the tombola and the tables were positively overflowing!  The bouncy castle, face painting stall, stocks, ‘welly-wanging’ and ball games were inundated with customers and the sun shone down on us - what more could we want!

The hog roast was delicious, as were the strawberries and Pimms.

With maypole dancing, steel pans and a super fairground organ for musical entertainment, it was a wonderful traditional family occasion and a super opportunity for the whole school to come together.

Indications are that in the region of £900 was raised on the day, which will go towards our new ‘Eco Garden’ and other projects.
