A Visit to the Fire Station

Pupils get tuition in the art of fire fighting

Year 2 have been learning about the ‘Great Fire of London’ in History and like to tie in learning about fire safety and the work of the fire brigade, so visiting the local Fire Station was a great opportunity.  The children learnt a lot and had great fun – particularly squirting water and sounding the sirens and the Fire-fighters are very helpful and informative.
