The P.A. Committee would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone for helping to make 2011 another successful and very satisfying year. The following list summarises their splendid fund-raising efforts for the Autumn Term.

The P.A. Committee would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone for helping to make 2011 another successful and very satisfying year. The following list summarises their splendid fund-raising efforts for the Autumn Term.
- Bonfire Night - £1724.54
- Cup Cake Sales - £490.40 (an additional £115 was donated to 'Children in Need')
- Christmas Bazaar - £1171.86
- Christmas Wrapping Paper Sale - £150.03
- Toy Sales - £100
- Flower Sales - £53.08
- Easy Fund-raising* - £20.07 (*please remember to go to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/fairsteadhousepa when ordering gifts)
- MacMillan Coffee Afternoon - £215.67 (donated directly to MacMillan)
This grand total of nearly £4000 has enabled us to purchase a Bain Marie - very useful for keeping food warm at winter functions; a bike rack - to encourage more children to cycle to school; some extra props for Bonfire Night; smart new netball kits for the girls (kits for the boys shortly!)
The next target is to purchase 80 comfortable new chairs for the Performing Arts Studio
